The Charter School of Excellence is accredited by the AdvancED, the accrediting agency for Florida public schools. The Charter School of Excellence is also accredited through AdvancED as a district of schools.
The Charter School of Excellence Davie Campus was named a National Blue Ribbon School in 2021.
In 2009, The Charter School of Excellence received an EPIC Gold Award from New Leaders for New Schools for outstanding work in helping to raise academic achievement among students. EPIC was designed to identify schools driving the highest student achievement gains within a national consortium of over 380 charter schools.
The Charter School of Excellence received an “A” in 2023-24. These grades are based on the Florida Department of Education’s system for evaluating school quality. Grades are determined by a point system based on student achievement and progress, using state assessments that measure student performance in reading, math, science and writing, and student learning gains.
